But that's not the point of a bucket list. This is one list no one can tell you how to create and no one can pooh-pooh. It's truly unique.
Many of the lists I've seen online had 101 items. Not sure why 101, but it seems to be the going number of bucket items. That number seems a bit overwhelming for me. So I'm starting with 11. Why 11? Well, I met Jesus at 11 years old, and I figure that's a good number for me. So here goes...
1. Write a book.
2. Journal on a regular basis so those who come after me will know what was going on within me...or something like that.
3. Travel. Where...? Well...Italy, France, Ireland, England...anywhere I haven't already been. I just want to see things I've never seen before in places I've never been.
4. Know what it's like to really be in love.
5. Master sign language.
6. Mentor young women to be Proverbs 31 ladies.
7. Own my own newspaper.
8. Weigh 130 pounds. In my whole body. And not just muh butt.
9. Grow something green and keep it green longer than six months.
10. Get a dog.
11. Find a new way to express myself artistically.
I realize that some of these things are quite lofty. Others are well within reach, with some work. But they're all do-able. And I plan to get to work.
And when I've checked most of this list off, I'll start another one. Maybe it'll have 12 things on it...who knows...? Doesn't matter. The point of these lists is to live...really live...before you kick the bucket.
So off I go...living...one list item at a time...
